Classic Black Tie Wedding in Smithtown, New York

December 4th, 2019

THE PROPOSAL

Matt had a ring in his pocket when he and his long-time girlfriend Lexi went out on a fun date of apple picking. Unable to work up the nerve to pop the question, he kept the ring in his pocket throughout the date. It was only until they arrived home that he pulled out the ring, got down on one knee, and asked Lexi to marry him! Of course she said yes, and two began planning their DREAM wedding!

A WATERMILL CATERERS WEDDING DAY

Lexi and Matt designed their wedding day to be stylish and elegant with lots of simple, modern elements that came together to make a classic black tie wedding. Their floral scheme was white and ivory flowers with lots of greenery. The bridesmaids wore navy blue gowns, and the groom and groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos. Lexi's dress was an absolute showstopper! I was obsessed with the intricate detail on the back of the gown and the long scalloped fishtail train. The couple exchanged their vows in front of their friends and family, and then it was party time! Their first dance as husband and wife was amazing, and you should have seen everyone's faces when Matt lifted Lexi up in the air and spun her around! The night ended with a romantic sparkler exit. Lexi and Matt, thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day! It was such an honor to capture your memories!
