Inn at the Olde Silk Mill Wedding | Ashley + Keith | Fredericksburg Wedding Photographer

When Keith approached me over a year ago to shoot his wedding I was still full time at GEICO. I had JUST started shooting and his wedding was supposed to be my fourth; however, due to a lot of unexpected life events, they had to post pone their wedding 9 months. Since then I've done over 30 weddings, quit GEICO and instead of my cubicle to look over their photos, I now had a complete outside office for them to come to, and an album design for them to add on. Ashley + Keith have no idea how much I appreciate them believing in me in the beginning of my career :)

In case you didn't know, they have been together FOREVER! (aka 7 years) High school sweethearts! They never fight, and when they do it's with emoji's (How freakin cute can you get!?) They are both extremely kind and get silly at a moments notice. Here is a glimpse of their special day at the Inn at the Olde Silk Mill!

Myrtle Beach Atalaya Castle Engagement Session | M Harris Studios | Brandy + Colin

My husband, James, and I planned weekend away for his birthday a month or so in advance. It wasn't until a week prior that we decided 100% that we would go to Myrtle Beach. A few days before we left I decided to put out an ad in that area and I received a few inquiries. I knew I could only have time for one session, so I needed to chose wisely. They had to be deeply in love and drop-dead gorgeous. Brandy + Colin were absolutely PERFECT! I was super excited and immediately began planning their session! They are one of the sweetest and genuinely kind couples I have met, and I am so grateful they chose me to capture their engagement photos. They will be getting married on 5-13-17 :)

Hanover Tavern Wedding | Mandi + Ben

I was booked to capture Mandi's wedding by her mother Cherry. She was incredibly concerned about the photography of her daughters wedding because she understood that this day could never be recreated, and it had to be captured perfectly. I didn't know anything about Amanda at that point except her wedding date and venue. Instead of an engagement session, Mandi requested a bridal portrait session. When I met her for the first time I knew her wedding was going to be amazing. She was the sweetest, kindest, warm hearted bride I had ever met.

I met with her and Ben a week or so prior to their wedding and learned that as soft spoken as Mandi was...she was just as much of a goof ball as Ben! They requested silly photos, and as you will view below, their wedding party held nothing back. The day went super fast but every moment was a blast!

This couple is absolutely perfect for each other, and I was so honored to be a part of their special day :)

Congrats to Mandi + Ben!!
